Preparing for Installation

The time has finally come!

Some things to keep in mind for your upcoming installation…

TIME AND DRIVEWAY:

You will want to have your drive way clear and remove any vehicles you’ll need out of the garage and parked on the street for the date of the installation. The crew will be arriving early in the morning so you may want to do this the evening prior. Speaking of early, the roof process can be rather loud depending on the age and the of the home you have. This will want to be considered if you or members of your house are not usually early birds.

HVAC:

If you have a swamp cooler we will be working around you will want to temporarily turn the water feed off if it is still connected. You may also want to pre-cool the home prior to the units work around or removal as the fuse may be removed during this process rendering the unit inoperable. Usually 3-4 degrees lower than your normal setting will provide adequate comfort during the down time.

INSIDE:

Inside the home you may want to take down any precious wall art or not so study mirrors as the vibrations can shake these items loose and they can fall and possibly break.

PETS:

Pets will want to be kept inside if possible as the crew may be working in the backyard for covering items or furniture; also to clean up afterwards. You can let the crew know if your pet needs to go outside so they can be clear of the area.

COMMUNICATION:

Please do not hesitate to communicate any concerns you may have before during or after the project to the crew, install manager or you project liaison. We want you to be happy! Construction can be rather dirty and not too pretty during the process. Communication is always welcome and we will put our best efforts into ensuring your satisfaction.

The materials should be arriving any day now and the crew will be arriving shortly thereafter. Thank you for trusting us with your home!
